With over 30 years working in clay I've been exposed to many different clay techniques, many different products and services too.

After really beginning to understand what goes on in a glaze we decided to develop a Cone 6 Bright Red Glossy Glaze (Stoneware temperature). Ron Sorice (our resident Ceramist) was a big part of that development and remains an important member of our continuing work. We are about to release our pallete of Southern Skies® Glazes in Cone 06 - 04 (Low Fire temperature).

We have just released our Southern Skies® Cone 06-04 Glaze Line. The Cone 06-04 colors are virtually identical to our Cone 6 colors. Be sure to click on OPTIONS and then choose either Cone 6 Stoneware (2195F) OR Cone 06 Earthenware (1828F).  And double check before completing your order.

At the same time I became fascinated with imbedding images in clay and with the help of Shirley Batten we developed Muddy Feet. We can fuse almost any picture, drawing or printing into the surface of clay objects.
